“ Grace has been a gentle yet demanding guide who has brought me closer to recognizing and rejuvenating my authentic self  She lead me through a career change and exploration in my forties through yoga, artwork, journaling, and more.  Most recently as I approach yet another critical juncture in my life, nearing sixty, Grace has offered her somatic healing from afar and lead me to listen to all that was arising by releasing the feelings and emotions that had accumulated over the years.  As I was investigating my ancestral lineage and generations of women in my matriarchal line through meditative practices, through Grace I was connected with my great-great grandmother, helping me to understand how trauma and tragedy had impacted generations of matriarchs.  

Grace was willing to go wherever I needed to go, and held me unconditionally as I opened my heart to the guidance of my spirit guides and dedicated more time to self care through heart work.  At times, the work was unclear to me, and the process mysterious but we have forged a pathway towards peace, healing, and rejuvenation that will illuminate my path as I forge ahead.

”This piece portrays the transition I'm presently experiencing, a liminal space of possibility. I've been saying goodbye to the past and envisioning what's to come. My inward journey began at the gravesite of my friend Blaze, then shifted into a dazzling and surreal adventure. The experience was like a chemistry experiment, with Alice in Wonderland-like potions and windows to move through, and dragonflies and butterflies about. In the distance were city lights that I was headed towards, but they were undefined. It was the journey, not the destination, and it does represent the magical journey I'm about to commence next month in Europe.”
